Mangalore : A rare celestial event ‘Venus Transit’ that takes place on June 6, Wednesday, is much awaited by everyone.
But experts have warned against viewing this celestial wonder with bare eyes. It can be seen by reflecting the Sun to a wall with a mirror. The transit will begin at 3.40 am and end at 10.20 am.
There will be a miniature eclipse when Venus, Earth and Sun position on a straight-line and Venus passes across the Sun’s face.
