Mangaluru: A Ghanaian citizen was nabbed by City Crime Branch police personnel for selling cocaine on Monday at Mallikatta.

Francis Christopher (37) has been identified as the arrested person.

Upon getting a truthful tipoff regarding the selling of cocaine at Mallikatta, CCB police raided the spot and arrested the person along with Cocaine, Rs 3300 cash and 2 mobile phones. Confiscated items worth Rs 5.5 lakh.

It is reported that the accused was staying illegally in India. His Visa term was over and from past two years he was living in India without Visa. Selling the drugs was his business.

Team led by CCB inspector Sunil Nayak and PSI Shyam Sundar under the guidance of Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar, DCP Shantharaju, DCP Sanjeev Patil conducted the raid.
