Mangalore: The Goa police on September 26 arrested five persons allegedly transporting liquor to Mangalore.

It is learnt that, the police arrested a group who were loitering suspiciously in the region. The police also seized liquor concealed all over their body.

During the interrogation, it was revealed that the group has several cases charged against them and is expertise to commit crime with different techniques.

The police also found 180ml liquor bottles tied on their stomach, waist and legs with rope and were transporting to Mangalore by wearing loose shirts and pants since Goa manufactured cheap liquors has good market in South Kanara and Udupi districts.
