Mangalore:  A workshop in Gorigudda, next to Durga Auto works, was reduced to ashes in a fire on Wednesday, at night fall around 8PM. As usual, this fire is attributed to a short circuit in the workshop, storing spares and tools.

A few workers on the Premises of the auto garage(owned by Loknath Salian) were able to retrieve some items.

Fire brigade men arrived on the scene to put out the fire, before it swept to cars parked in Durga Auto garage nearby.

Goods worth Rs10000 like tiles and wiring, and 35 liters of oil thinning substance, were lost. More details were collected from the owner of damage done, by fire at the spot located near bus stand near National Highway.
