Mangalore : BJP state president Prahlad Joshi said that government must provide the compensation of Rs 25,000 for arecanut growers for incurring the loss, but their announcement of compensating Rs 12,000, will not be enough.
Addressing the press meet held at District BJP Office on October 9, Wednesday he said that around 5,000 cattle have died due to diseases and the govt has not even announce the compensation, hence they must immediately provide it in the hand of beneficiaries.
He also said that the party under the leadership of BJP national president had conducted the preparatory meeting for the upcoming Lok Sabha election in Mumbai. Further it will also hold Lok Sabha convention before December 15.
State government is having a sleep like a Kumbakarna, hence it is least bothered to implement the planned projects announced during the budget four months back.
He also said that congress have come up with the new proposal to fool the minorities by issuing certificates to Muslims recomending their innocence in terror activities, but BJP thinks that terrorist activities is not restricted to a particular religion.
