Bangalore : Governor Hansraj Bharadwaj who was in the thick of allegations against BJP leaders making extra money, is now surrounded by counter allegations that he had an office of profit outside the gubernatorial duties. It is now found out that Governor Bharadwaj is chief of an international centre for Alternate Dispute Resolution (CADR) for the last 15 years earning benefits, like Rs. 12 crore grant from the central Govt, Ministry of Law and Justice, which fixes him in a dispute that needs a resolution. A senior lawyer, Rajeev Dhawan has asked why H.R. Bharadwaj did not resign the post at the centre after being made a state governor. The ball is in HRB’s court.
The centre for Alternate Dispute Resolution is the brain child of Lay minister HR Bharadwaj, with his son Arun as a Life member. The matter gets fishy now. Dhawan has attached HRB for not resigning a lucrative post in Delhi when he is Karnataka Governor. It is for HRB to resolve this dispute at his centre.
