Kalburgi: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, on Monday, announced that the state government had reduced the price of petrol and diesel by two rupees.
He spoke during the Hyderabad-Karnataka liberation day programme held at DAR grounds in Kalaburagi. He said the decision was taken to benefit the common man in the state.

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, will first garland the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at SVP Circle in the city. He will then participate in the liberation day programme at District Armed Reserve (DAR) grounds.
Later, the CM is scheduled to hold a meeting with officials and receive petitions from people.
In the afternoon, he will visit the Dattatreya temple in Devala Ganagapur, in Afzalpur taluk, before heading back to Bengaluru in the same special flight he arrived in.
