Mangalore : A variety of religious and cultural programmes will be organised at the Sri Durga Devi Temple and Sri Ayyappa Swami Mandir at Taudugoli on the occasion of Sauramana  Ugadi, Vishu celebrations  on April 14, Sunday.

The function to  be presided over by  Harikrishna Punaroor, former Kannada Sahitya Parishat President, Jagadish Shenava, VHP leader, will deliver a religious discourse.

The religious meet to be held  at 7.15 pm will be participated by several people including  Chandrahas Ullal, President of Sri Cheerumbha Bhagavathi Temple, Ullal,  Ganesh Nayak Ananthagiri, Vice President, Sri Bhagavathi Co-operative Bank Ltd, Mangalore.  Chandrahas Shetty Morla, Managing Trustee of Sri Mitta Mogaraya Daivasthana,  Naveen Shetty Mangalpady, President, Yuvaka Mandala, Naringana and others.

Vishu Pooja will be offered to Goddess Durga Devi and Sri Ayyappa Swami at 8 pm followed by a variety of cultural programmes  including  a Tulu play ‘Ennidinonji Aayinonji’ by  Vajra Arts Kudla in association with Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy from 8.30 pm onwards.
