Kundapura: A huge procession of heavy offerings of vegetables, coconuts, fruits and other materials of use, meant for Kumbhashi Anegudde Sri. Siddihi Vinayaka Temple, was taken cut on the occasion of public feasting, during Brahamakalashotsava and Car Festival under Way at the hoary shrine, on Sunday, February 19.
Thousands of devotees from Kumbhashi, Thekkatte, Bijadri Koravadi, Gopadi village and their surroundings participated with high enthusiasm, in carrying loads of offerings to the gods, and devotees at large, attending the various religious programmes in a renovated temple for re-installations and 1008 coconuts Yaga for images installed there.
Nasik drums and other instrumental music groups, besides dance troupes performed during the walk to the temple, giving a festival look to the whole programme of carrying many offerings.
Hereditary administrator K.S. Upadhya, L N Upadhya, Vishwamahara, priest Subramanya and many other pilgrims took part in the Seva Yatra.
