Mangalore : Newly elected chief minister of the BJP-led state government DV Sadananda Gowda with his wife Datty visited Shri Venkataramana Temple at Car Street to seek the blessings of Lord Venkataramana on August 14, Sunday.

The authorities of the GSB community then felicitated the CM with a shawl and his wife Datty was honored with a Choodi flower according to the tradition.

Deputy Speaker N. Yogish Bhat, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, District-in-charge Minister Krishna J. Palemar, Mayor Praveen Kumar, and Deputy Mayor Geetha Nayak were present.

Temple authorities like C. L. Shenoy, Madhav Kamath, Nithyananda Nayak, President of the Temple Rennovation Committee M. Padmanabha Pai, and others were present.
