Kasargod : Police have arrested two persons in connection with the murder of a Gulf employee, a day after he returned from abroad.

Those arrested are Abdul Azeem (35) and Abdul Azeez (37) from Manjeshwar.

Aboobakker Siddique who was a Gulf employee was abducted and then killed last Sunday. The body was then left at a private hospital at Bandyod by the accused who later fled from the place.

The prime accused Rais and Shafi have reportedly fled the nation. Police have seized Rs 4 lakhs from the house of one of the accused in Uppala.

Siddique, his brother Anwar and a relative Ansar were kidnapped from Paivalike and then thrashed. While the accused left Siddique’s body in a hospital, the other two were abandoned at Paivalike.
