Mangalore: A group of 5 conspirators known as Kadle Manju gang responsible for murder of Andhra setter criminal Guruprasad on April 23 involved in a previous murder of Manjunath, another Andhra setter here, has surrendered to the city Police on Tuesday, April 24, also Known as Akshaya Triteeya Gold (purchase and sale) Day.
Guruprasad was chased from Market road bus stand to Bibi Alabi road by this gang of five murderers, known as Rakesh, Shailesh, Prasad, Pradeep and Sharan, in to a Juice shop (Satkar bar) he was brutally hammered to death on Monday in broad day light. North Bunder Police ACP Vinay Gaonkar was after the killer gang and the five surrendered to him finally in 24 hours.
The police will explain further details on Wednesday during a press meat. A long knife that had fallen on the road, during Guruprasad’s open murder, is stated to be his own, and did not bear blood marks. The deceased leaves a wife and a small baby.
