Mangaluru: A habitual two wheeler thief, Munir Ahmed alias Goods Munir (56) was arrested by Mangaluru city crime branch police,who was found to be involved, in many robbery and vehicle theft cases. Munir Ahmed alias Goods Munir (56), a resident of Balikashrama road in Kankanady was arrested and police have seized a Honda Ativca vehicle from the accused.

The accused had robbed a Honda Activa two wheeler from the city, in Bundar and has been using it with a duplicate number plate. On Friday September 4, CCB police inspector Valentine D’Souza and his team nabbed the accused during inspecting the vehicles.

The accused has been involved in more than 50 theft cases and 45 cases have been lodged in Mangaluru alone. So e he has been booked under many vehicle theft cases and communal violence cases, as per police.
