Kasargod: Police have confirmed that Kuwait citizen Abdulla Hadi Abdul Rehman Al-Enezi, who was arrested by Kuwait police, has financially helped two suspected ISIS followers from Kerala. Abdul Hadi was held for supporting financially and recruiting people from all over the world for ISIS.
National Investigation Agency (NIA) had given the information to arrest Hadi, to Kuwai police. Based on NIA’s information Hadi was arrested by the police. Kuwait police have also confirmed that Hadi is an ISIS recruiter.
He was used as a link between terrorists and newly joined ISIS followers. He used to help them financially. It is reported that he funded Areeb Majeed, Fahad Sheikh, Sahim Nalkhi and Anand Tendon of Maharashtra to join ISIS. He provided money through a Afghan citizen named as Rehmadal Doul.
Upon taking up this case NIA had got a tip-off of hadi and they informed Kuwait police. Efforts are going on to bring Hadi to India for the further enquiry.
Meanwhile, Kerala government has decided to hand over the 21 missing person’s case who are suspected to be joined ISIS, to the NIA. As per the sources NIA officials might land at Kasargod for the investigation.
