Udupi :  Hariprasad, an accused in the gang rape of a medical student of Manipal University, was produced before the Udupi court on June 28, Friday. He was arrested on June 27, Thursday shortly after the first accused Yogish was arrested after he attempted suicide.

Hariprasad was earlier taken to government hospital at Ajjarkad for medical examination before producing him before the court. It is learnt, he has confessed to the crime.

The other two accused Yogish who consumed poison and Anand who had attempted suicide by hanging from a tree, are undergoing treatment at hospital.
