Mangaluru: Accepting the invitation given by Rashtriya Swayamswvak Sangh (RSS), priests of Infant Jesus Shrine and nuns of Santacruz convent Kulshekar visited RSS’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, on Tuesday at Sanghaniketan.
Recently a team from RSS had visited Infant Jesus Shrine and extended invitation for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, whixh was organised by Ganeshotsava Samithi of Sanganiketan.
Fr Elias D’Souza, Director of Infant Jesus Shrine Bikarnakatta, Deputy Director of Infant Jesus Shrine Bikarnakatta and Sr Gladys, Sr Nimpla, Dr Florita and Sr Denistia from Santacruz Convent had visited the Sanghaniketan.
“Happiness of the Gensh Chaturthi has been increased, because Christian priests and nuns took part in our celebration. No matter how we worship god, our prayers will reach him anyway. Our intention is to create communal harmony and serving for this nation through unity,” said V Nagaraj, Kshetriya Sanghachalak of RSS.
Later Deputy Director of Infant Jesus Shrine Fr Prakash D’Cunha said that visit of Christian priests and nuns is a symbol of harmony. Ultimately the team wants to deliver a message of everybody should live united.
“Harmony and peace is our motto. We thank the organisers for inviting us. Let us respect and love each other,” he added.
