Mangaluru : The valedictory of the one-month Intensive Yoga Camp for Class 12 students by the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mudipu and Department of Human Consciousness & Yogic Sciences Mangalore University, was held recently.
Chief Guest, Mangalore University Vice Chancellor Prof. P. Subrahmanya Yadapadithaya advised students to have proper attitude to reach altitude. He stressed the students to be disciplined and alarmed. Dept. Of Human Consciousness and Yogic Sciences Chairman and HoD Prof. K. Krishna Sharma stressed that yoga should be a life style and all should gain positive energy by the practice of yoga.
Principal P. Rajesh chaired the function. Yoga Instructor Sandeep Rajak presented a report about the month’s yoga camp and also coordinated a yoga demonstration. Cultural programme was also performed by the JNV students. The VC distributed resource materials for the Vigyan Jyoti students and certificates for the participants.
Vice Principal Rekha Ashok welcomed the gathering. Physical Education Teacher Shankarappa B.A delivered the vote of thanks. Physics lecturer Raghvan mastered the ceremony.
