New Delhi: Ignoring heavy rains and enjoying monsoon tourism, several thousand Anna Hazare followers waited for the aged (74) Gandhian at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi and old Delhi, when he finally left Tihar Jail premises for a peaceful fast to be near Minto bridge in Delhi
People lined the streets as Mahashtrian Hazare was taken in a tri-coloured open vehicle to the venue of his fasting to atone for the sinners of corruption and black money hidden abroad by anti-national Indian politicians, businessmen and officials.
While sparing the Judiciary, he did not exempt Prime Minister from Lokpal Bill if the PM was involved in cases of corruption.
While Varun Gandhi promised to move a private (MP’s) bill in Parliament on the lines of Anna’s Jan Lokpal bill, there was nothing to indicate that he did it on Friday as per his promise.
Hazare spent 3 nights in Tihar Jail no.4. But he did not dilute his ethical position, while congress black-mailed him on his own corruption and accused a foreign hand (America) having provoked him to get into his present tantrums.
But Hazare did not bend or break, he put the centre on fire.
