Mangalore : State JD(S) President HD Kumaraswamy has said that the JD(S) has no intention of including any disgruntled BJP leader into the JD(S) fold as of now.
Speaking to reporters in Mangalore on October 29, Monday, HDK said though he had spoken to the former Kundapur MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty, the latter had sought more time to decide on joining. Though there are a few leaders who are interested in quitting BJP so far they have not approached the JD(S), Kumaraswamy said.
He said the internal squabbles in the BJP has hit hard development, and alleged the state government had completely failed in solving the problems of the people.
On the scenario in the Congress, Kumarswamy said the re-entry of former external affairs minister SM Krishna into state politics will not have any bearing on the JD(S).
