Puttur : The head scarf impasse has finally ended as reports indicate that many students who were protesting outside the college campus since the past few days had relented and started attending classes since Thursday.
It may be mentioned here that the college management was firm on its stand and has said head scarves cannot be allowed in the college at any cost and that rules cannot be changed to suit a few. Sources said nearly 25 students as well as their parents requested the management to permit the students into the class without the head scarf. However a final decision on the row is pending as the college management honorary president Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha is presently on a Chaturmasa Vrita.
