Mangalore: State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Aravinda Limbavali visited the KMC Hospital at Attavar in Mangalore on August 22, Wednesday and met three patients who are suffering from rat fever. It may be recalled here that two members, both young boys of this family had recently succumbed to rat fever.
On this occasion, the minister instructed the officials to initiate precautionary measures against spread of the disease. It is learnt, as of now six people are suffering from rat fever in Bantwal taluk.
The minister during his visit was accompanied by District BJP President Padmanabha Kottari and Srikar Prabhu, BJP leader.
