Mangalore : State Health and Family Welfare Minister along with Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim and Mangalore North MLA BA Moidin Bava paid a visit to the residence of Kabeer, who was gunned down by the Anti-Naxal Force near the Shringeri check post on April 19, Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, DC said that after consulting with the Deputy Commissioner of Chikmagalur and Additional Chief Secretary of the State government, he would be undertaking judicial probe into the case.

Health Minister Khader said the government has announced the compensation of Rs 5 lakh to Kabir’s family.
