Bangalore : State Minister for Health and Family Welfare UT Khader raided the Jayanagar Government Hospital and Government HSIS Gosha Hospital at Shivajinagar in a midnight operation  at around 12.20 am on May 29, Wednesday. The minister arrived at the hospitals in his private vehicle.

The minister during his raid found that all doctors, nurses as well as security guards in the hospital were fast asleep. The minister took them to task and warned them of stringent action if they were caught napping during duty hours again.

 The minister also spoke to some of the patients. The minister found that records were not in order in the Shivajinagar Hospital.

Later the minister held a meeting with medical officers and discussed with them regarding the condition in the hospitals.
