Mangaluru: Sheets placed on the top of two houses at Meenakaliya in Baikampady, on the outskirts of Mangaluru, were damaged due to gale. None were injured.

In the past 24 hours, the district has received an average of 54mm rainfall. A total six houses were severely damaged, and 16 partially damaged so far. A total of 148 electricity poles have been uprooted, and three transformers have been damaged.
