Bangalore: The High Court which has taken up for hearing a PIL filed by Suresh Bhat Bakrabail, President of Karnataka Komu Sauharda Vedike accusing Dr. Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat, RSS leader, of delivering a hate speech during the Hindu Samajotsava at Uppinangady in January this year, has directed the police department to submit a transcript of the alleged offensive speech within two days. The PIL said the provocative speech led to a tense situation in Uppinangady and despite that the police allowed Dr Bhat to continue with his talk.
The advocate for Bhat argued that there was no evidence to prove the charges and also that the petitioner Vedike was not a registered organization.
However, Chief Justice Vikramjit Sen took strong exception and said “These types of people are the ones who spoil the image of our country.”
