Bangalore : The High Court has quashed the contempt of court case  filed against Sri Raghaveshwara Bharathi Swamiji of Sri Ramachandrapur Mutt, in connection with the renovation of the dilapidated Adi Gokarna Temple and with regard to the temporary Annadana building arranged for the devotees  of Sri Kshetra Gokarma.

One Narahari Krishna Hegde of Munchalekoppa in Sirsi had moved the court in this regard. With the High Court quashing the petition, the developmental activities at Gokarna which had been suspended, will resume.

Commenting on the development the Sri Ramachandrapur Mutt has said that the court ruling has put an end to a ploy to stall development of the Kshetra.

The Ramachandrapur Mutt has been offering free meals (Prasada Bhojana) to devotees  during afternoon and night at  the Gokarna  Temple since the past four years.
