Udupi : Karnataka high court has rejected bail plea filed by Niranjan Bhat, the third accused in the murder of Udupi based businessman, Bhaskar Shetty.A single member high court bench on Wednesday asked the accused to submit all proofs to the prosecution inconnection to the murder case and file a fresh bail petition before concerned local court within 6 months.
The order from the high court came after prosecution informed the court that, if court grants bail to Niranjan then, he may destroy the remaining hidden proofs could prove the murder case in the future.
Udupi based Bhaskar Shetty was brutally murdered on July 28, 2016 by unidentified persons. The police after an investigation, arrested wife of Bhaskar Shetty, Rajeshwari Shetty, his son Navaneeth, his neighbours Niranjan Bhat, Niranjan Bhat’s father and his assistant inconnection to the murder case.
