Mangaluru: Karnataka High Court in an order stayed all legal proceedings against senior RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakara Bhat on Thursday for his alleged provocative speech amid recent communal tensions in Dakshina Kannada district.
The high court has also served notice to the state government, state home department secretary, police department, Puttur police station inspector and Dakshina Kannada District Popular Front of India (PFI) unit organizing member Ashraff all who moved legally against senior RSS leader for his alleged provocative speech.
Advocate, Arun Shyam who represented Prabhakara Bhat said, senior RSS leader has been serving the society for the past many years and he works hard for national integration. Also, the complaint registered against Prabhakara Bhat is a violation of fundamental right of an individual. Hearing the petition from RSS leader, high court released a stay order on all legal proceeding against him.
