Mangalore : AICC general secretary B K Hariprasad said that Karnataka was said to be the model state and when the present Karnataka Government started to follow the rule of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar government, then it lost its image.
Addressing the media persons at the press meet held at District Congress Office on December 25, Saturday, he said that the issues like Padmapriya case, Renukacharya and Hallappa case had made all the efforts to spoil the reputation of the state. No development has taken place in the state unless in corruption.
He also said that, BJP President Nitin Gadkari who said that CM’s denotification was given back is unethical, later was silent in the matter and supported his every move. Gadkari has made his son’s marriage grandly and when his house was raided huge amount of money was found, this show what made him to support CM in his denotification.
Lokayukta Justice Santhosh Hegde itself agreed that the entire minister in the BJP government are corrupt, hence he was made to resign from his post. It must be questioned whether Lokayukta will excuse the minister if they give back all the money gained through corruption, he said.
He informed that, the BJP has given various advertisements in the newspapers regarding the development schemes for farmers, but actually no development has taken place so far. The Hindu activists are holding Samajotsav during the election. This is not to show love towards the religion but for the sake of votes. The Hindu activists are Osama Bin Laden of the country.
Speaking about the JDS, he said that JDS leaders are good to gain publicity. Hindutva is made for political purpose and not for religious matter.
