Mangaluru: Condemning the attacks on right wing activists especially in Ullal region, Hindu Hitarakshana Samithi staged protest against the state government, on Monday on front of DC office.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel while addressing the protestors said that the government has failed to curb the communal violence in the state. CM will be held responsible for any untoward incidents which may take place in future.
“The government is provoking communal violence. Till now two Hindu youths have been murdered and seven cases of stabbing on Hindu youths have been registered, but the culprits of many cases are not arrested yet. If no one arrested for murdering the Hindus, then CM and district in-charge minister will be responsible for the communal violence which may take in the state or district,” he said.
Prof M B Puranik, Regional Working President of VHP said that patience of Hindu community is being known as the weakness of the community. The protests will be intensified if the government fails to take stern action against the culprits of murders of Hindu youth.
“Nearly eight Hindu youth have lost their lives and no proper investigation is done on these cases. VHO warns the government that the government might have to see tough days ahead,” he added.
HJV Provincial Executive Member Radhakrishna, former MLC Monappa Bhandary, Satyajith Surathkal and others were present.
