Mangalore : The local unit of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti under the aegis of Rashtriya Hindu Andolan staged a protest in front of DC office demanding to withdraw government’s decision to provide financial aid to ‘madrasas’ in the country.
The protestors also urged central government to prevent them from maligning of Hindu saints and pressurise the neighbouring country China, to stop the circulation of maps displaying Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh as Chinese territory.
The protestors said that union government must immediately withdraw the aid of Rs 100 crores allotted for the modernization of these madrasas since those are the place where Hindu girls are forcibly converted to Islam.
