Mangaluru : The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Sanathana Samsthe, Hindu Mahasabha and Sri Rama Sene jointly organised a protest rally demanding ban on Valentine’s Day celebration, in-front of DC Office here on Sunday, February 8.
Addressing the protestors, Vivek Pai urged the government to ban such celebrations. Valentine’s Day celebration is against the country, he said.
Upendra Acharya said, government should encourage culture. Such English observations must be banned in India. Government should impose ban on all such celebrations.
State Organizing Secretary of Hindu Mahasabha Dharmendra, Lokesh and Nagesh from Sri Rama Sene, Lokanath Acharya and Vijayalakshmi from Arya Samaj among others were present.
