Mangalore : The VHP and Bhajrangdal in Mangalore celebrated the execution of Afzal Guru, a terrorist  convicted in the 2001 attack on Parliament.

The members burst crackers and celebrated the victory near the party office at PVS circle. Sweets were also distributed to public gathered around.Traffic in the area was disrupted for some time owing to the celebration.

Bhajrangdal leader Sharan Pumpwell said the execution of Afzal Guru has sent a strong message that India would not tolerate terrorist. Srikar Prabhu of the VHP also spoke.
