Mangalore  : Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Vice President Jagadeesh Shenava requsted the media not to connect the recent St. Alphonsa Church attack at Kankanady and Hindu organizations.

Speaking at the press meet held on Nov 5 Saturday, he said that some newspapers and news portals have depicted the incident as an “attack on churches,” which gives the wrong impression among people regarding Hindu organizations such as VHP and Bajrang Dal.

He also said that some news papers have reported about the unethical activity going on in the church, few have been arrested, but the truth is not been revealed.

VHP urge COD investigations into the issue to0 reveal the truth in public.

Shenava said that Hindu organizations have nothing to do with the incident and the arrested person is a convert from Hinduism to Christianity.

VHP President Manohar Tulajaram and VHP Chief Secretary Gopal Kuthar were also present.
