Mangaluru : For the upcoming Bruhat Hindu Samajotsava to be held on Sunday, March 1, the invitation and posters are released in a function held at the Samajotsava office here on Friday, February 13.
Governor of Rotary Club Dr B Devdas Rai unveiled the invitation and said that, all Hindus should come together to the unity and harmony among Hindus.
VHP leader Jagadish Shenava informed that Over 1,00,000 people are expected to participate in the Samajotsava. More than 2,000 vehicles will take part in the vehicle rally, the rally will be taken out in the city on February 20 to mark the golden jubilee of VHP. He said
Pranth Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishat Prof. M B Puranik opined that all individuals born in India are Hindus and called on people from all castes and communities to take part in the program which will emphasize unity leaving behind all barriers of caste, creed and religion.
Honourary President of the Samajotsava and President of Karavali Group of Colleges S Ganesh Rao said that the program intends to propagate peace and brotherhood among the Hindus. He also said that the Samajotsav would serve as a great platform to discuss and sort out minor differences that have erupted between various Hindu cults.
The program is held under the joint aegis of VHP and Bajrang Dal on account of the Golden Jubilee of VHP.
