Mangalore: Hindu Samrakshana Samiti and other Hindu organizations’ staged a protest opposing the recent attack at Mallur on the hindu community by another community, protest meet held on Monday, October 28 at Neermarga junction.
A protest rally was held from Baithurli to Neermarga junction. Hundreds of people took part in the in the rally.
Kuntaru Ravish Tantri stated that. No one has the right to instigate fights against any individual or community. Police were not doing their duty efficiently he said.
VHP leader Jagadish Shenava, said Strict punishment should be given to the culprits, such incidents not repeat in future.
Prakash Alva Mallur, president of Hindu Samrakshana Samiti, Sharan Pumpwell, convener of Bajrang Dal and Kumar Malemar, convener of Sri Rama Sene spoke on the occasion.
Subhash Padil, convener of Hindu Jagarana Vedike, Jeevan Neermarga, convener of Hindu Samrakshana Vedike, Bhujanga Kulal of VHP and Veerappa Moodushedde of Hindu Yuva Sene and others were present.
