Mangalore:Hira Media and Studio at Hidayat Centre in Mangalore was inaugurated by Ejaz Ahmed Aslam, National Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

Dr. C P Habib Rehman, Director, Unity Health Complex and B S Sharfuddin, Visiting Faculty, IGNOU Centre, Kuwait,  were present as chief guests. Mohammad Kunhi, State Joint Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, presided over the function.

The Studio would broadcast programmes in local cable TV channels and would  come out with CDs and DVDs on Islam and other social issues. It also has plans to digitize Islamic books,  publish e-books etc.
