Bellary : SR Hiremutt, Chairman of Samaja Parivartana Samudaya  threw another bombshell when alleged that  the mining business of Janardhan Reddy had been directly patronized by senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj as also former CM Yeddyurappa.

Speaking to reporters at Bellary, he said Sushma Swaraj was also eyeing the Prime Minister’s post. It may be recalled here that SR Hiremutt who wants to wage a war against corruption directly at the courtyards of the Supreme Court, had recently even described former minister DK Shivakumar as the father of illegal mining .

No illegal mining during my tenure : Meanwhile, speaking to reporters at Maddoor External Affairs Minister SM Krishna while refuting allegations of Hiremutt has said that there had been no illegal mining activity during his chief ministership.
