Mangaluru: The transfer of government teachers should be held back till the confusions of the transfer norms get cleared said MLC Capt Ganesh Karnink.

“The transfer counselling of the additional teachers has continued in DK and Udupi. It has caused lot of problems to the teachers. It is also reported that ex servicemen benefits are also not given to the teachers. It was decided to consider DK and Udupi under Malenadu taluk’s. That is also not done,” he said.

He urged the government to hold back the transfer process till the confusions get clear. The government should pass a circular regarding this immediately, he said.
