Udupi: A home guard employed at Shirva Police station has been suspended from his post for clicking 11 selfies with girls which has gone viral on social media.

District home commandant Dr Prashanth Shetty suspended him with immediate effect.

The accused has been identified as Sujith Shetty, resident of Manjarapalke, Belman from Karkala.

Sujith has been employed in Padubidri unit of home guards for the last one-and-a-half years. He was deployed in Shirva police station a few months ago. He initially started working on night shifts and was working on day shifts also from sometime.
