Mangalore : The honorable state Home Minister VS Acharya visits A J Hospital to enquire the health condition of Shivaram Shetty on July 29, Thursday.
Acharya speaks to the family of Shivaram Shetty, who was viciously beaten up the Bantwal police in the rod three days ago. He also said that, the information on the incident was gained by his family members and assured that, the government will look after the expense of his treatment.

Superintendent of Police Dr A Subrahmanyeshwar Rao, has taken strict action against the accused and will further discuss the matter with the IGP.

According to the police, Shivaram Shetty was arrested on the apprehensive death of Coastal Development Authority chairman Nagaraj Shetty’s farm house servant.

Based on the torture case, three police officials from Bantwal station have been suspended. Shivaram Shetty was brought to A J Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit in a critical condition.
