Mangaluru: The city police commissioner Dr Harsha on Wednesday organised a honour convoy for the commemorating the efforts of the Covid Warriors, in the fight against the pandemic at Wenlock Covid block on April 22.
A convoy of 25 police vehicles paid tribute to the doctors, nurses, paramedics, ambulance drivers, ASHA as well as civic workers who have been risking their lives to keep us safe.
In a tweet, Dr Harsh said, “It was an immensely satisfying feeling to organise a Honour convoy in tribute of all Doctors , nurses paramedics, ASHA workers, pourakarmikas..In the fight against COVID..UNITED WE CAN, UNITED WE WILL..”
Deputy District Commissioner Sindhu Rupesh, ZP CEO Selvamani were among those present at the parade.
Notably Commissioner Dr Harsha has been motivating the police personnel by recognising the efforts of at least one team member as the Covid Warrior for the Day.
