Kasargod: The new hostel building of Central University at Periya was inaugurated on Saturday.

Central Minister for state of HRD Dr Mahendranath Pande inaugurated the hostel building through the video conference from New Delhi.

“Two more hostels will be built for Dalit and backward community student within one year. All the campuses which are functioning in the various parts of the district will be brought to Periya campus,” he said.

Central University Vice Chancellor Dr G Gopalan, Revenue Minister E Chandrashekharan, MP P Karunakaran and others were present.
