Mangalore : The Gateway Hotel brings a unique dining experience at CARDAMOM to tickle the taste buds with the chef’s special Punjabi cuisine in all its marinated, stuffed and full-bodied glory, bursting with some of the most flavorsome specialties from major regions of Punjab Malwa, Doaba and Mahja, said that Chef Shailesh Varma.
Speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Gateway on October 19, Wednesday, he said that every flavor of Punjabi is brought together to bring a lavish and scrumptious food festival at CARDAMOM.
The concept of this special food is about celebrating everything that’s strikingly reminiscent of Punjabi culture from a hearty spread of the choicest Punjabi food to snapshots of rural Punjab.
The food journey starts with Welcome drink like lassi and go on to explore more with salads, soups, kababs, curries, live tadka dal trolley and Tadka counter complete with dhol wala, Bhangra dancers and others.
The ‘Tangy bash of Punjab’ will be held at Cardamom from October 19 to October 30. It will start ‘Thai Food Festival’ from November 18 to November 27 and the Lucknowi food festival ‘Ek Shaam Awadh ke Naam’ from December 9 to December 15.
