Mangalore : While speaking in DK Congress Party head Quatars, On the occasion of Felicitating newly elected members of Mangalore Nagara Palike, Mr.Janardhan Poojary told that  on behalf of South Canara District Congress Committee,  there will be a large Congress Party conclave in Nehru Maidan on 18th March at 5.pm and it will be attended by Mr.Veerappa Moily, Mr. Oscar Fernandis, Vinay Kumar Sorake besides State and District leaders . The Victory celebration of local body electoral winners will be held on this day. he apealed  to the people to gather in large numbers  He observed that except sullia  taluk congress fared well in all the constituencies and hence forth, objective  of congress should be to concentrate on Sullia constituency .

While speaking on this occasion Mr.Ramanath Rai, President D.K Congress observed that recently held election is an indication for the forthcoming assembly election which will be held in May and hensforth all elected members should thrive for the betterment of the people . The party’s recent success in election has enhanced spirit of party workers and the momentum should be carried forward until next election.
