Sullia : A huge crowds were seen at Kukke Shree Subramanya to offer Ashlesha Puja Temple on Sunday December 6.
Crowds gathered from between midnight to six in the morning from circle to the Gopura of the temple to get service receipts were issued.
The devotees formed a beeline in order to get service receipt so that they could offer the puja.
It is believed that Shravana Masa (Aadi Masam – beginning late July and ending third week of August), Karthika masa (beginning with new moon in November), and Margashira masa (from November to December) are the most auspicious months to perform Aslesha Bali Puja at Kukke temple.
The temple introduced Ashlesha Puja in three phases in the morning hours, the temple has started to offer this service in the evening hours too.
