Mangalore: Various likeminded organizations including Youth Congress, NSUI, SFI, DYFI, AISF, AIYF and other organizations have decided to hold a huge protest against the home stay attack in Mangalore. The protest cutting across party lines will be held on September 1.

Speaking to reporters, Mithun Rai, President of District Youth Congress said it was condemnable on the part of the government for not booking the accused in the home stay attack under Goonda Act until now. He said students from various colleges will participate in the protest. A peaceful rally will be taken out from Jyothi Circle upto DC office where a protest would be staged.
