Mangaluru : A tree uprooted on the seventh bend of the Charmadi Ghat on Tuesday due to heavy rains, August 6 leading to disruption in vehicular traffic.

Vehicles were seen queued up on both sides of the road.

Social worker Charmady Hasanabba and locals started work of clearing the road to facilitate the movement of vehicles. The stranded motorists expressed anger against the district administration officials for not visiting the spot even after one hour of the mishap
