Mangaluru: “Karnataka mein hum jeetenge” said Narendra Modi to BJP leaders boosting their morale in Mangaluru on Wednesday.
To take part at a BJP conference at Belgavi in the evening, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Mangaluru International Airport at around 4pm. He arrived to the airport via helicopter from Chikkamagaluru and was welcomed by BJP leaders including Cap. Ganesh Karnik, Monappa Bhandary, Cap. Brigesh Chowta, Chandrashekar Uchila, Nimita Shyam, Dr. Annayya Kulal, Sandesh Shetty and Harish Moodushedde.
On this occasion, the PM had a friendly chat with the BJP leaders and asked on how was the current scenario in coastal Karnataka with relation to the election. BJP leaders replied that the people have responded well towards the party. “After you got involved in the party promotion in Managluru and throughout the state, the self confidence of the party workers has increased. Amit Shah’s road show was also a success,” they said.
In response to this Modi replied, “We will be victorious in Karnataka.” At around 4:10pm in the evening the PM left to Belgavi on a special plane.
PM Modi has previously arrived at MIA four times; from where he has carried on with his journey to other places. He has arrived to MIA to take part in election promotion at Kerala, a programme at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, journey to Lakshwadeep and the recent election promotion at Udupi, leaving by helicopter to his destination.
