Mangalore : The Congress drew curtains to its campaigning in Mangalore  South constituency with a huge rally from Nehru Maidan to Urva.

Hundreds of party workers and several leaders along with the party candidate JR Lobo took part in the rally. There were the chende artistes’ team from Kerala and also an open jeep with speakers highlighting the achievements of the Congress. Pamphlets were also distributed to voters.

From Nehru Maidan, the rally passed through Hampankatta, KS Rao Road, MG Road, Lalbagh and Ladyhill.

Congress leaders including Ivan D’Souza, Mithun Rai, Asha D’Silva, Sabitha Misquith, Praveenchandra Alva, Suresh Ballal and others took part in the rally.
